“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go.” (Luke 10:1)

We would love to see Luke 10:1 come alive in our church as we pray together for upcoming church activities, as well as RBC’s pastors and staff. We’re looking for women to be “on call” for prayer! Members of The 72 will be notified as prayer needs arise, and may pray as the Lord leads…alone at home, in pairs, or in groups.

To understand more about The 72 Prayer Ministry, please view the video below. If you’d like additional information, you can email the72prayergroup@restonbible.org.

“When a man is born from above the life of the Son of God is born in Him, and he can either starve that life or nourish it. Prayer is the way the life of God is nourished. Our ordinary views of prayer are not found in the New Testament. We look upon prayer as a means of getting things for ourselves; the Bible’s idea of prayer is that we may get to know God himself.” (Oswald Chambers)

Typically, the women’s prayer group meets Tuesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the Youth Building (Room Y3). All women of the RBC community are invited to join together to seek God in prayer for our church, nation, neighborhoods and families. Even if you can only come for a part of the time we encourage you to join us!

This group is currently on hold. If you have any questions, please contact Hannah Yearick at hannahyearick@restonbible.org.
