TEAM RBC (SPECIAL EVENTS & DECOR): Have you have ever thought, “I can’t help every week, but I would like to use my time and talents to serve at RBC from time to time for special events throughout the year,” we could use your help! We have needs for things such as: set-up and take-down of holiday decorations and assistance before, during, and after banquets, conferences, retreats, and funerals. “Many hands make light work,” so join Team RBC today – fill out the Host Team application below!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS: According to Barna research, almost 50 percrent of Americans say they accepted Christ before the age of 13. If this is true, you have an amazing opportunity to be part of children coming to faith in these formative years. We need volunteer leaders and assistants to partner with us to effectively disciple children to become mature followers of Christ. Click here if you’d like to help in the nursery. Click here if you’d like to help in Quest.
SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION: We offer on-demand American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during our 9:00 a.m. worship service and for most special events. If you are proficient in ASL interpretation and would like to use this gift to serve in this ministry, please contact Erik and Lee Anne Bishop.

INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION (ESL): If you have interest in serving the local international community and want to make a lasting difference in their lives, please consider teaching English as a second language with International Connection. Curriculum, training and even encouragement are provided! Click here to learn more or click here to sign up.
SHEPHERD GROUP LEADERS: If you are currently involved in a Shepherd Group and feel that God may be calling you to lead a group, we are currently taking applications for new small group leaders. Potential leaders are required to attend a New Leader Training Course, offered in the spring and fall. The training is open to current Shepherd Group members as well as those who have previously participated in a Shepherd Group and are considering leading in the future. The purpose of the training is to prepare each person for the responsibilities of being a group leader as well as to confirm God’s calling for this role. Click here for more information and to register for the next New Leader Training Course. If you have questions, please contact David Wright at davidwright@restonbible.org.
RBC CARES: RBC Cares is an initiative of the Deacon ministry. Its purpose is to connect those who desire to share their gifts (material or service) with the needy in our congretation. Click here to learn more.

RBC GARDEN: The RBC Garden Project grows and provides several hundred pounds of food a year to our weekly Food Pantry. We also can use help with special projects like mulching, garden box construction, and grounds maintenance. You can learn more about the garden here.
LEGAL CLINIC: Good Samaritan Advocates at RBC provides free legal help to those in our local community who cannot afford to consult with a lawyer. We need volunteers willing to join the team! Click here to learn more!
FOOD PANTRY: The food pantry ministry requires a team of many volunteers, working several days a week in various capacities to serve and minister to needy families in our community. There are many opportunities to serve both during pantry hours (Thursdays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.) and behind the scenes during the week.
