Our annual missions banquet celebration will be held on Friday evening, October 25.

This is a celebration of RBC’s involvement in the Lord’s work around the world. This is not a fundraiser. No mention of money or offering will take place.

It will be open to all ages. While free childcare will be available for children up to age 5, children of all ages are welcome to attend the dinner and sessions with their parent(s).

This Year’s Format

We will have a simple dinner in the sanctuary, during which time there will be a powerful testimony from our missionary in Peru, Shad Welsh regarding the martyrdom of his father while serving as a missionary in South America.

After dinner, from 7:00 to 8:30, every 30 minutes for three sessions you will visit a room where you will hear a presentation from one of our visiting missionaries regarding their ministry and country. In addition to learning about the ministry, you will sample a dessert from that country/region. On the registration form, you will select which three presenters you want to visit.

At 8:30, we will regather in the sanctuary for a time of worship and end the evening at 9:00.

As in every year, we encourage you to wear international clothing, but know that you will be walking from room to room and sampling dessert on your laps, so dress comfortably.
