Gospel in the Feasts
Join us at 7:00pm the evening of March 28 as we prepare for Easter by considering the Gospel through the lens of the Old Testament feasts.
And when the hour came, Jesus reclined at table, and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you I will not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” Luke 22:14-16
While we know the Passover feast was fulfilled in Jesus at the cross, there is deep and rich significance to each of Israel’s feasts in the Bible. The ‘Gospel in the Feasts of Israel’ presentation focuses on the seven chief Old Testament holidays or feasts. Aaron Abramson, Chief Operating Officer for Jews for Jesus, will explain the purpose of these celebrations both then and now, then show how the coming of Jesus fulfilled those feasts and gave them a larger meaning. This is an excellent teaching on the relationship of the Old and New Testaments and also reveals the opportunities for Jewish evangelism throughout the year.
No registration is necessary, and childcare is not available, so we invite you to attend as a family. Children in late elementary and above will find this time most helpful and interesting.
