…..and here are a few more questions you may be asking about HomeFront Farm Day!

Q: Where does Farm Day take place?
A: Great Country Farms (GCF) in Bluemont. Click here for lots more information on the farm.

Q: What is there to do at the farm?
A: There are animals to feed, a ginormous jumping pillow, slides, miniature golf, swings, fishing ponds, playhouses, wagon rides, mazes to run through, and much, much, more. If you’ve never been…you’re in for a treat!

Q: What do we need to bring?
A: It is a farm – so you will get dirty! No designer clothes or dress shoes allowed. We suggest wearing comfortable, older clothes. You may want to pack spare clothes for the kids.  We will have dinner together, but you might want to pack some snacks and lunch if you’re coming for the day. You can also buy some yummy food in the GCF Roostaurant. And if you like to fish…don’t forget to pack your gear!

Q: Can we bring friends?
A: Absolutely – we’d love to have them! Register online to get a discount.

Q: What time should we arrive?
A: CGF opens at 10:00 a.m. and your passes are good for the entire day – so you can arrive any time you like.

Q: How do we check-in and where do we go?
A: When you show up, tell the GCF representative that you’re with the HomeFront Group. They will supply you with your wristbands, give you a map, and point the way to the our group meeting spot (it’s right by the Pumpkin Pillow).

Q: Are there planned activities that take place?
A: There are no official planned activities. Big kids (sometimes called adults) and small kids will be running all over the place for the entire day. We will have a fishing derby after dinner for some prizes if you want to join in.

Q: What time do we eat?
A: We’ll be eating an early dinner around 3:30 at our gathering spot.

Q: What will we have to eat?
A: We will be having an assortment of flatbread pizzas for dinner with chips. Lemonade and water to drink and a special treat for dessert. Feel free to supplement that with anything you need for your diet or to satisfy your pallet.

Q: What time does the event end?
A: GCF officially closes at 5:00, but they won’t be in any hurry to kick out our private party. You can leave anytime you want.
