An Evening with Alisa Childers
Event Navigation
You are invited to join us on Sunday, April 7, for An Evening with Alisa Childers from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m.
Having experienced a crisis of faith in her 30s, Alisa Childers’ story touches on the struggles of many today whose faith is being shipwrecked by cultural assertions of subjective truth, the growing trend of spiritual deconstruction and the unbiblical influence of progressive Christianity. Whether those are new terms to you, you know someone currently working through issues of faith and doubt, or you are on the cusp of a faith crisis yourself, we invite you to join us for this unique evening.
Alisa and Pastor Michael Greene will lead us in worship featuring some of Alisa’s newest music, and Pastor Jim Supp will dialogue with Alisa regarding faith, doubt, deconstruction, and progressive Christianity. There will also be a Q&A time with Alisa.
Limited childcare is available and registration is required in advance.

I felt as though I had been tossed in a stormy ocean of uncertainty with no life jacket or lifeboat in sight. I didn’t know where to find answers to my questions, or if answers existed at all. Did I have to accept it all on some kind of blind faith? … This began my journey from unreasoned doubt into a vibrant, rational, and informed faith.“ – Alisa Childers
