Mark Noftsinger
Having started to attend Reston Bible in 1978 and served at Reston Bible for over 20 years along side Mike as non-staff, I can confidently state one word that comes to my mind when I think of Mike Minter – Faithful
Having been an elder for a time gave me an “insider” look at ministry and Mike. I found that it just ain’t as easy as some might think!
But in it all, Mike was faithful. I do not know of another person that I have met on this planet that I respect more than Mike Minter.
My family left Northern Virginia in 2003 but will forever be thankful for Reston Bible Church and Mike and Kay.
It is good to see Mike more casual in the pulpit as we all wore some crazy looking suits to church back in the 70’s!
And we all have mostly gray hair now (but it is nice to have hair)! I know he is not retiring and that he will continue to be a blessing to the RBC family but wanted to just express the clear message that as a fellow believer – I love Mike Minter.
Amen to your assessment, Mark! I trust that family life and ministry are going well for you in Roanoke.
We miss you and Kay, and think of you often, along with the many years we shared in AWANA and Shepherd Group.
May God continue to bless you all richly in the days ahead.
We love you!
