New Leader Training is offered in the spring and fall and is required of all new Shepherd Group leaders. The training is open to current Shepherd Group members as well as those who have previously participated in a Shepherd Group and are considering leading in the future.  The purpose of the training is to prepare each person for the responsibilities of being a group leader as well as to confirm God’s calling for this role.

In the New Leader Training course, we will meet weekly for 7-8 weeks in a small group setting.  During this period, we will discuss and experience firsthand the purposes and values of a healthy Shepherd Group.  Each trainee will lead a session during the course of our time together.
