There are 3 new Thursday morning classes and one new Thursday evening class, beginning March 25.

All classes will meet at Reston Bible Church, morning studies 9:45-11:45 a.m. and evening studies 7:15-9:15 p.m. Classes will not meet on April 1.

Sr. High Bike Trip

Come join the RBC Senior High Youth on March 26 - April 3, 2010 as we travel down to Florida by bus and then travel by bike through the Ocala National Forest into Fort Wilderness at Disney in Orlando. This is an awesome trip we host for our teens and their friends every other year. Don’t miss this road trip.

THE COST: $500 ($100 deposit is required at time of registration and the full payment is due by 3/1/2010)

WHAT WE DO ON THE BIKE TRIP: We have a 1/2 day at the beach, bike for four days (approximately 40-50 miles per day) and spend our last day at Disney. The bike staff from The Navigators will once again be assisting us on the trip. They lead outdoor adventure trips like this one. Their staff is well trained and does an excellent job at making the week a fun and safe one for all who go. We will have group time each day where our speaker will encourage us in our journey and in our relationship with God.

Registration will take place on a first come basis until the slots are filled. Don't delay.

Mom's Connection

Join us at 9:30 a.m. in Herring Hall on Friday, March 26th as we continue the spring season of Mom’s Connection. This month’s speaker, Lori Roll will be speaking on “Wait God, This is Not What I Signed Up For: Finding His Way Through ADHD, Food Allergies, and More”. Come out for fellowship with other moms and to hear how God has used these “hidden” issues in her children’s lives to bring real spiritual growth to Lori. There will also be the opportunity to ask Lori questions on these topics that affect so many children today.

Monthly fellowships are an opportunity to meet new moms and connect with friends. Attendees enjoy the opportunity to hear from fabulous speakers and discuss in small groups our theme for the year, Seeing God in Our Trials. Hear speakers share their personal stories of seeing God build their lives through some of the hardest issues they have faced. From motherhood in general, to learning disabilities, food allergies, health conditions and more, glean insight that can improve your own spiritual walk with Christ.

Everyone has their favorite cup of coffee. And everyone has their favorite place to enjoy that coffee - whether it is sitting in a fast food booth with the guys talking about your fantasy football league over a cup o' joe, or the wonderful experience of reading a book in your favorite coffee shop with its cozy atmosphere and tempting aromas while sipping a piping hot double shot espresso. A coffee shop is where we go to jump start the day with a quick infusion of caffeine, and yet it is also where we go to unwind with a friend after work.

Join us March 29 - April 2, for our production of Conversations, an evening of music, drama and moving real-life stories set in the cozy atmosphere of your favorite local coffee shop. Admission is free and nightly showings begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm - we invite you to bring a friend, come early and enjoy complimentary coffee and dessert before or after the show.

Childcare is available for infants through 10 years old.

RBC Parenting Conference

Come join us April 17^th for RBC's Parenting conference, Raising the Next Generation. We will be hearing from one of our elders, Ray Shoaff and wife Linda who teach an ongoing parenting class through RBC. Ray and Linda will use the key verse " Do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."(Eph 6:4 - emphasis added) to provide practical methods of instruction.

Spring Clean

The Spring Clean project is a way for our youth to raise money for upcoming Summer Missions trips to Chicago, Croatia and Brazil. The Spring Clean project will take place Saturday, April 24th.

If you would like to contribute financially, have a job for a team to do, or would like to participate as a worker, please sign up online or download the signup form below and drop it in an offering box during weekend services. Our deadline for jobs is April 11th.

Rebuilding Together

For the 7th year, Helping Hands will be participating in the annual "Rebuilding Together" project, which is a nationwide home repair event occurring Saturday, April 24th. Rebuilding Together’s mission is to preserve and revitalize homes, assuring that low-income homeowners live in warmth, safety, and independence. We are looking for 20 volunteers to assist in various home repair tasks. No special skills are required.

Blood Drive

There is an immediate need in our area for most blood types. Blood must be available when needed for patients whose lives depend on it. Over 200 blood and platelet donations are needed every day, year round by patients at the 15 hospitals served by Inova Blood Donor Services.

Blood and platelets help many people including: trauma patients, surgery patients, newborn babies, cancer patients and transplant patients. Although 60 percent of the population is eligible to donate, less than five percent actually donates. More donors are urgently needed every day, seven days a week, to help save lives.

Evening of Worship

Evening of Worship is a monthly gathering that meets in the sanctuary one Sunday each month. Simply, it's a time set aside for celebrating God through musical worship and fellowship. EoW is currently in it's fifth year and continues to exist solely because of the desire of the RBC community to meet and experience God in an intimate and engaging way.

Worship leader Erik Palmer leads the EoW band for this 60-75 minute time of musical worship and reflection.

We invite everyone to come join us! (Cry room is available for those with small children.)

2010 Marriage Conference

Come join us May 7^th and 8^th for RBC's 4th annual Spring Overnight marriage conference. Pastor Paul Goodnight will share from God's Word, blending lots of humor and experience to help you and your spouse grow closer to each other and to God.

CHILDCARE:

Child care is available onsite at RBC for both Friday evening (5:30-10:00pm) and Saturday morning (8:30am-noon). The cost is $20 for the first child, $12 second child, $8 three or more children for either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Please register by April 12^th if planning on using RBC childcare.
